An updated and enhanced version of Hall Monitor has arrived this week!
We are pleased to announce the new release for Hall Monitor iOS and Android, version 1.3.129.
Now Hall Monitor has the following additions:
1. Critical information and note flags are shown in the student list (Android and iOS)
2. The student number is in place of the school number on the student profile (Android and iOS)
3. An active classrooms button is now showing (Android and iOS)
4. A condensed view of marks and absences (Android and iOS). No more irritating scrolling! We’ve also incorporated a roll up view which can be opened to view details
5. The search function is working smoothly no matter how fast you type
6. Now you can see a student’s picture and basic information on all pages and modes. The black menu bar at the top will remain fixed (iOS and Android)
We are planning the next release of Hall Monitor for June 25th, here’s what we’re hoping to include:
1. Change the schedule format to a table in the student profile (Android and iOS). This will help to reduce the amount of scrolling.
2. Add Touch Attendance to iOS and Android, (to match the same functionality as the Windows 8 version).
3. Add the ability to create and modify notes and critical information (Android and iOS) as is it in the Windows 8 version.
4. Include birthdate and age on student profile with a notification if it’s their birthday, so you can brighten your student’s day by wishing them a very happy birthday J
Have any great ideas you want to share? We’d love to hear them!
We may even add it to our next release. Feel free to respond to this email with your suggestions.
Regards,
