We are pleased to announce a new release of Hall Monitor for iOS (1.3.141), Android (1.3.142) and Windows 8.1 (1.3.0.141).
Here is the list of enhancements and corrections that are included in this release:
* Schedule popup writing has been changed to increase clarity
o Links colors were changed, and more space was allocated to each field
* Fixed a bug where we showed room id instead of room name in the classroom view
* Editing critical info / notes fields should now take up the whole page on bigger screens
* Formatting for the date in birthdays was changed for consistency
o On birthday pages (Windows/iOS/Android), the date is now shown in the same format as other dates within the app
* Removed popups in schedule when no course is shown
* On iPads, buttons are now correctly separated (critical info editing)
* Error messages will not show before the request comes (birthdays, classroom view)
o Error messages will only be shown when there is no birthdays or students, and not before the request is received
* Information section of a student (Windows 8) changed for student information. Address field modified to be consistent with other contacts
For next month’s release we are planning the following:
* User management
o Restricted information, depending on user role (admin, substitute teachers, teachers, principals etc.)
* Support for temporary users (supply/substitute teachers, volunteers etc.)
